Our story
Three shops, one way of doing things
Tribe started in 2019 with a single takeaway window on Shop Street in Galway. The idea was simple: serve exceptional coffee and genuinely good vegan food — no compromise, no apology. We roasted our first batch in a friend's garage and baked our first batch of brownies in a home oven at 5am.
Six years later, we're three shops strong — Galway, Ballyhaunis, and Claremorris — and we still bake everything ourselves. Our kitchen in Ballyhaunis turns out cakes, brownies, cinnamon rolls, banana bread, and seasonal specials every morning. No mixes, no pre-made, no plastic-wrapped pastries.
Our coffee comes from Imbibe Coffee Roasters in Dublin — a small-batch roaster who share our obsession with clarity and sweetness. We serve a rotating single-origin espresso and a house filter blend that works beautifully with oat milk. Tea is by Wall & Keogh, Dublin.
